Grapple Girl

Grapple Girl is a short game where you explore a ruined temple with a grappling hook, collecting gems and trying to beat your personal best time while avoiding toxic sludge and spikes.

Made as part of My First Game Jam - Winter 2023

Update 1.1 PATCH NOTES

• Added a menu screen on death rather than just immediately respawning, as well as a pause menu. These offer the player a chance to restart the level, check controls, return to the menu, or quit to desktop
• Fixed death audio to better reflect the cause of death (i.e. splash sounds will no longer play when player has been impaled on spikes)
• Dying will now reset gems and broken walls
• Added tooltips for the grapple gun, breaker gun, and treasure pickups
